Palau

A country.

Best Time to Dive
You can dive Palau year round. The 'rainy season' is from about September to November but most dive sites are protected and you will still usually get more than enough sunshine. Trade winds blow in December to February. Typhoons are very rare in Palau.

What You Can See
Grey Reef Sharks, Hammerheads, Whitetip Reef Sharks, Manta Ray, Moorish Idols, Napoleon Wrasse, Barracuda, Turtles, Jacks, and much more.

Getting There
Liveaboards are a popular option for diving this site and most leave from Koror. United Airlines (Continental) transferring through Guam is a good place to start looking for transport to Koror.
