Green sea turtles were a very common find when we were scuba diving off the island of Maui in the Hawaiian chain. At Ulua Beach (Wailea) in particular, it was not uncommon to see at least 5 turtles on any given dive. They looked like they were used to being stared at, usually laying in a very relaxed fashion on the coral.
