Nelson Ledges is a privately owned quarry located adjacent to Nelson-Kennedy Ledges State Park.

There are several wrecks here to explore including a cabin cruiser, old cards and equipment once used in the quarry itself.

Marine life includes sunfish, bass, perch, bluegills, crappies and catfish. Freshwater jellyfish appear during the transition from summer to fall.

Visibility here can be challenging, as with most quarry dives.

The quarry's owners are Grateful Dead fans and hold regular concerts and festivals with artists from or inspired by the era.
