A 780 tonne collier sank in 1880 during a routine trip carrying coal from Newcastle to Melbourne. The crew abandoned the ship and headed for nearby Montague Island in row boats.

Two locals found the wreck on 19 August 2996.

"She's is covered in exquisite sponges, exotic seafans, clusters of multicoloured jewel anemones, some candelabra plumes, sunshine corals and a collection of read, green and yellow encrustation." (Tom Byron)

The rudder is at 30m/100ft and the stern at 25m/85ft.
