Gladden Spit is a world-famous location for diving with whale sharks. The surrounding area is the natural spawning ground for many marine species, upon which the whale sharks come regularly to feed. Sightings are most common from late March through to June, and to a lesser extend from August to October and from December to January. Whale sharks feed close to the surface, so both divers and snorkellers can enjoy the experience. |
