High Five

Went to Coral Cave for my first European diving experience and the FIFTH continent I have had the pleasure of diving on. (South America your booking is coming). It was mostly what I had heard about diving here in Nice. Saw a couple of nice Nudibranches, nice larger Grouper, moray, two nicely colored Scorpion Fish. Some of the other divers on the boat saw a Seahorse.

The 'Coral Cave' was very interesting with coral formations growing from the top. It was even more interesting when we got back on the boat. One of the local guides said that they had found a very similar cave at a similar depth near Marseille. They found evidence that at one time, when sea levels were apparently lower, the cave had been inhabited. It is speculated that the cave here in Nice may also have been home to a group of people a long time ago. Interesting diving fact.
