PREVIOUS DIVE Pelorus Island
SS Yongala NEXT DIVE

Speechless

If you are reading this you are not reading what I originally recorded in my dive logbook. The reason is that the pages for the 4 dives on the Yongala are completely blank other than my instructors stamp and signature for completing the PADI Wreck course on the Yongala.

I could not come up with anything to write that could add anything to the experience that is burned in my brain. The hype surrounding the Yongala is deserved. It is a very special dive. If James Cameron filmed a dive scene for a movie with CGI artists at his disposal, it would look like the Yongala.

There were Cobia, Grey Nurse Sharks, Eagle Rays, magnificent coral, a HUGE Queensland Groper named VW hanging out at the bow.

If you are thinking about going to see the Yongala, stop thinking about it and go. Furthermore, contact Yongala Dive and go on the Yongala Express. (Recommendation coming soon - see my profile).
